Though our reach is global, our core team is based out of our Aberdeen location, where we design and build our systems based on client needs.
About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Assistant to join the team in our Electronic Instrumentation Workshop in Aberdeen. This role is to start immediately on a permanent full time basis, but part time basis is also considered. The hours are 8am-4pm Mon - Fri and overtime is included at an enhanced rate (workload dependant)
Main duties and responsibilities of the role will include; recording work carried out using Eztek reporting system documents, cleaning and inspection of electrical and mechanical parts, assisting with rental and calibration aspects and ensuring the workshop is kept clean and tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order. You will report directly to the Production Manager and assist the workshop technicians where required.
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful for this position it is preferred you have previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of electronic equipment, but this is not essential. As a minimum you will have previous labouring experience on a site or yard. You will be expected to set priorities for tasks in order of importance and contribute to decisions taken in the team. It is essential you have an awareness of HSE and contribute to a positive safety culture within the business.
