Eztek Limited held a busy Open Day on their premises last Thursday, June 16th. The company, which supplies the global energy sector with easy-to-use electronic solutions for hazardous areas and harsh environments, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The Open Day was part of these celebrations and showcased many of Eztek’s popular products, including digital data loggers, video camera systems, talkback intercoms and wireline instrumentation. The event also included demonstrations of the Eztek safety shutdown system, which has now been used successfully by several oil companies.
Robin Hunter, Eztek’s General Manager, said: ‘It was encouraging to see a great turnout to the event. Many clients are exceptionally busy but took the time out to catchup and see a range of our products, which help improve safety and efficiencies in the oil and gas sectors. I am very grateful to our dedicated workforce who set up the event and to our clients for their continued support.’
The company made full use of their large yard and office premises, inviting OGRE Engineering to display some of their products on-site.
Tom McMillan, Eztek’s Middle East Account Manager, and Peter Salt, Eztek’s Technical Sales Manager, both usually work remotely but came up to Aberdeenshire to attend the event.
Derek Wilson, Sales Advisor for Eztek, said: ‘It’s always worthwhile to show clients your full range of capabilities, especially when your products have evolved so much over the years for a variety of applications.’
Eztek will continue it’s 30-year celebrations with a stand at Offshore Europe later this year. It will be the first time the company has exhibited at the show.
Mr. Hunter said: ‘It’s incredible how much the company has grown and it’s great to be able to share that with our clients and show them that we continue to value their input and participation in our development.’
